“The glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with nature. To nurture a garden is to feed not just the body, but the soul.” Alfred Austin
Shaped by years of dedication and persistence you must experience the gardens at Noosa Valley Manor, a labour of love for Renate and Roberto Luca. Together, they’ve poured blood sweat and tears into their garden design, layers of textured foliage give the garden a sense of magnificence. Rich bursts of colour peek through the green with new and rare plants creating a tropical paradise for many varieties of birds, butterflies, fish, frogs, native bees and other animals.
“We wanted our garden to be something unique and magical, somewhere for our guests to go and relax, inspired and completely nurtured by nature.” Roberto Luca
It’s a bit like a magical carpet bag – slightly intriguing from the street, then when you come inside it takes on a (completely different feel!) another dimension revealing itself as an eclectic space of wonder and inspiration. There’s a hint of something different from the moment you arrive – wandering into the space beyond the vintage blue Indian dog gates “what is there?”, a stream, a waterfall, handcrafted water pot bursting with lotus, dragonfly, butterfly or golden pineapples popping from the earth.
